Cortex

The current obsession. Cortex is an orchestration layer for software-building agents: not one assistant in an editor, but a factory floor — planner, builders, reviewers, and a verifier that refuses to mark anything done without proof.

The thesis comes straight from the day job: single-commit CI/CD with ephemeral environments already absorbed a 20-person QA team's workload. The next compression is upstream of the commit. Still in progress; this entry will be rewritten by its results.
